Project Engineering Manager (f/m/d) – HVDC Portfolio

About the Role

The Project Engineering Manager (f/m/d) – HVDC Portfolio is responsible for managing all engineering aspects in offer or execution projects for HVDC stations. Leading a diverse team of engineers across electrical, plant layout, mechanical, civil, process, controls, and instrumentation fields, you will coordinate with project management, customer engineering consultants, and your team to ensure project specifics are clear and well-executed. Your role involves guiding international engineering teams and partners through design reviews, scope clarification, and compliance, as well as conducting individual meetings to address scope, schedule, and costs. You will also engage with site management to prepare for upcoming site visits.

  • Collaborate with external partners and internal teams on technical matters to shape the future of energy
  • Lead, mentor, and integrate a multidisciplinary engineering team to achieve project goals
  • Manage engineering risks and opportunities, ensuring adherence to technical and contractual standards

What You Bring

  • University degree in electrical engineering or related fields, with experience in power generation, transmission, distribution, or EPC markets
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, including site and commissioning work
  • Customer-focused approach with adaptability to dynamic environments
  • Proven ability to lead and manage international, dispersed engineering teams
  • Willingness to travel globally for site visits and customer engagements as needed
