Field Service Technician - Rigid Packaging

George Thomas is working in partnership with a rigid packaging company that services the global market.

Position: Field Service Technician

Location: Based in Germany, serving sites across the DACH region.

Your responsibilities will include creating maintenance plans, boosting production efficiency, and supporting project management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance: Plan and perform preventive and reactive maintenance across Germany and the DACH region. Manage risk assessments and maintain stock of critical parts.
2. Project Support: Discuss improvements and assist in implementing new machines and production lines.
3. Health & Safety: Promote safety compliance, train staff, and ensure site security and hygiene.
4. Team Training: Identify training needs, solve problems, and maintain operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in electricity, mechanics, and basic software
• Bachelor’s degree or apprenticeship in Engineering
• 4+ years of engineering experience
• Willing to travel
