WIRTGEN GmbH is a company of the WIRTGEN GROUP, a global group of companies in the construction equipment industry with 5 brand headquarters in Germany, local production sites in Brazil, China, and India, and a worldwide sales and service network. Within the WIRTGEN GROUP, WIRTGEN specializes in machines and technologies for road pavement rehabilitation. The market leader employs approximately 2,000 persons at its Windhagen (Cologne/Bonn area) headquarters.

To strengthen our sales department, we are looking for a full-time and permanent Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Focus Middle East and West Africa.

Your New Position

  • Providing comprehensive sales support to defined dealers in West Africa and Middle East regions in operational, organizational, and strategic sales activities related to WIRTGEN GmbH products.
  • Training our sales network in the respective markets on products, technologies, and sales systems.
  • Supporting the development of sustainable, cost-effective new road construction methods in cooperation with dealers, end customers, and authorities.
  • Offering product and application consulting to dealers, end customers, and institutions.
  • Preparing offers independently and managing tendering processes.
  • Assisting sales partners with financing solutions, letters of credit, contracts, and coordinating machine installations and customer trainings.
  • Coordinating closely with various sales-related divisions within WIRTGEN GmbH and the WIRTGEN GROUP.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and/or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP ERP is beneficial.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are advantageous.
  • An open-minded, team-oriented personality with intercultural competence.
  • Balanced assertiveness, confidence, and empathy.
  • Moderate ambition and perseverance.
  • Self-assured presence, persuasive skills, and negotiation ability.
