System Administrator

My client is a rapidly expanding consulting firm specializing in IT solutions for the banking and insurance industries. Based in Düsseldorf, they prioritize innovation, collaboration, and professional development.

We’re seeking a German speaking System Administrator to join the team in a hybrid role, working onsite three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• System Administration : Maintain and troubleshoot servers, storage, and IT systems to ensure high availability
• Network Security : Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies
• Virtualization : Manage VMware environments and deploy virtualized infrastructure
• Client Support : Collaborate with banking and insurance clients, provide IT solutions, and document systems

Requirements

• Languages : Fluent in German (C1+) and English (B2+)
• Skills : Expertise with Fortinet firewalls, VMware, Windows / Linux servers, and networking
• Experience : 3+ years in system administration, ideally in banking / insurance
• Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP, or equivalent preferred
• Fortinet experience is a must have
