We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the automation of AMZL delivery stations across North America and Europe. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to identify and select strategic suppliers, lead complex negotiations, and ensure seamless project execution from technology proof of concept development to scale-up strategy.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Supplier Selection and Qualification:
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
    • Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions for our organization.
    • Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to assess their ability to meet our quality, delivery, and performance standards.
  2. Project:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track.
  3. Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
    • Develop and implement strategies to scale up technologies across regions with qualified suppliers.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and address issues promptly.
    • Identify and assess potential supply chain risks such as disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors.
    • Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of these risks.

Role locations include Luxembourg, Paris, and London.

About the team

The Amazon Logistics Supply Chain team owns the setup and readiness for all new programs and products across multiple engineering categories (equipment, fixtures, consumables, etc.). We bring ambitious goals to life by partnering with stakeholders in Worldwide Engineering, WHS, Design, Operations, and Procurement. We manage vendors during design, deployment, and change management stages, delivering program milestones related to cost, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements include experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams, team management, and project delivery experience. Additionally, experience in program or project management and supply chain is essential, including defining program requirements, using data and metrics for improvements, and communicating results to senior leadership.
