Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will sell exciting, innovative aquatic play products and solutions in a fast-paced environment. Your days will involve generating new business opportunities in Germany through prospecting, building relationships with decision makers and influencers in our industry, and closing unique projects with a multidisciplinary team of experts.

  • Drive new project sales of products like Splashpads, Poolplay, Water Management Systems, etc.
  • Act as a technical and sales consultant to customers
  • Assist customers in designing their water play solutions
  • Work with the inside sales team to produce accurate and timely product proposals
  • Educate architects, landscape architects, aquatic designers, amusement park planners, and technical representatives about our solutions
  • Build relationships with municipal officials and navigate government procurement processes
  • Travel throughout the territory as needed
  • Participate actively in sales meetings and discussions with your Regional Sales Manager

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time (day trips and overnight stays)
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
  • Self-driven and eager to learn
  • Personable, professional, and passionate about consultative selling

Experience and Training

  • 3-5 years of field sales experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in municipality, play, or recreation industries
  • Experience with complex sales
