The primary focus of the Account Manager is to shape the company strategy to penetrate the German markets, and to build and maintain relationships with current and potential distributors and clients to maximize our business in the biopharma industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the team leader in proposing appropriate marketing and sales strategies based on in-depth analysis of market trends, competition, customer behavior, and our current situation.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with local distributors and key customers. Provide timely training and appropriate solutions with internal or external resources to expand our customer base and enhance brand exposure.
  3. Help establish a system for local distributor management and evaluation, including assessing potential distributors and setting annual sales goals for each.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team on related activities, such as proposing and implementing events (webinars, seminars, exhibitions), selecting media and promotional platforms, coordinating internal resources for speaking opportunities, and tracking promotional material designs.
  5. Attend industry trade shows and events to expand knowledge and network connections.
  6. Achieve sales targets in regional markets.
  7. Create and update sales reports, including contacts, leads, and confirmed sales through direct and distributor channels.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a Business Development or Marketing and Sales Executive in the pharmaceutical industry. Overseas market experience is preferred.

Additional skills include being self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, effective time management, proficiency in English and German (both written and spoken), high business acumen, strong data analysis and project management skills, negotiation experience, ability to secure large sales opportunities, and conduct market research.
