Junior Accountant (m/w/d)
Location: 69123 Heidelberg, Germany
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS standards.
- Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the invoicing plan.
- Manage the invoicing and approval process, working closely with the sales team.
- Handle provisions and accruals.
- Prepare VAT returns and the summary report.
- Responsible for the monthly group reporting to BASF, including intercompany reconciliation.
- Cover for accounts payable and receivables accounting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed a business administration degree with a focus on accounting or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant).
- Ideally, some professional experience in a similar role, gained through internships or working student positions.
- Self-reliant and precise working style, with high comprehension skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Dynamics Navision/SAP) and good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- Teamwork, social competence, and willingness to engage are essential.
