Our client, a respected and forward-thinking international pharma company, is seeking a Head of EHS Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will be responsible for setting and executing EHS strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and cultivating a culture that prioritizes safety and sustainability

Your Responsibilities :

Strategic EHS Leadership :

  • Develop and implement EHS strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Provide senior leadership with insights and guidance on EHS matters.

Regulatory Compliance :

  • Ensure full compliance with local, international, and EU EHS regulations.
  • Stay updated on evolving EHS standards, and adjust company policies as needed.
  • Oversee EHS programs, regularly auditing their effectiveness.
  • Identify and manage EHS risks, leading incident investigations and corrective actions.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Develop and deliver training programs to instill a culture of safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the company in EHS forums.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing EHS team, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Your Profile : Must-Have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, or related field. (Master’s degree or certification like NEBOSH / IOSH is highly desirable.)
  • At least 7 years of experience in EHS, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in German and EU EHS regulations as well as a solid background in pharma EHS program management.
  • Full professional proficiency in German & English.

  • Leadership skills that inspire and motivate teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong commitment to EHS excellence and the ability to work in dynamic environments.
