We are strengthening our team in the area of hardware development at the Berlin location. Within this department, there is the opportunity to take on more responsibility in the future.

Intellic Germany GmbH is a ZF Group company that develops and sells sophisticated hardware and software solutions, in particular digital tachographs and ITS telematics solutions for the commercial vehicle sector.

The Team

You will work as a hardware developer in a team of four employees on the circuit design, layout, commissioning, and testing of digital smart tachographs and the associated peripheral devices. In the field of electronics development in the automotive environment, you will be involved in the approval of these devices and support the team in the transition to production. Your workplace will be located in Berlin in a development team of around 20 employees. After a successful induction, you will be able to take on further tasks and opportunities for promotion will open up.

What you can look forward to as Hardware Developer (m/f/d)

• Development of analog and digital electronic circuits, as well as the simulation of circuits and creation of test setups
• Close cooperation with the mechanical engineering, software development, and layout departments
• Testing of electronic assemblies, error analysis, and rectification as well as the development of corrective measures and cooperation in the integration and testing activities on products
• Supporting the transition to production with regard to electronic components and production testing
• Working within the framework of the quality assurance system in accordance with DIN ISO and contributing to our continuous improvement process
• Collaboration in the approval of the product with authorities or test centers and development of specifications and documentation

Your profile as Hardware Developer (m/f/d)

• Completed university degree in communications engineering/electrical engineering or comparable technical training
• Comprehensive expertise in the field of analog and digital circuit development, ideally from the automotive sector, as well as in the field of EMC-compliant design
• Knowledge of the Altium Designer development tool desirable
• Familiar with the procedures and processes of quality management systems, e.g., DIN EN ISO, as well as experience with relevant standards and with the approval of products advantageous
• Integrative skills: You have a balancing effect in the team and are oriented towards the objective in your work and also work in a results-oriented and cost-conscious manner
• Very good knowledge of German and applicable knowledge of English
