Summary

We are looking for a "Head of Legal Operations Radar (f/m/d)" for the "Legal Operations Radar" department at the Ulm location as soon as possible. The department provides the division management with advice on all legal issues.

Your Tasks

1. Lead the Legal Operations Radar unit for the HENSOLDT Group, advising the division management and working closely with your team.
2. Report to the General Counsel of the HENSOLDT Group and participate in the Radar Division Steering Committee.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate relevant contracts for the Radar division, especially on sales.
4. Collaborate with other departments within the company.
5. Prepare contractual risk documents as part of risk management.
6. Develop dispute resolution strategies in collaboration with the business unit.
7. Manage external law firms and their engagement.
8. Develop and conduct training sessions within your area of responsibility.
9. Implement strategies to standardize legal advice, ensuring efficient deployment of your team with high-quality standards.

Your Profile

1. Fully qualified lawyer with passed first and second state examinations.
2. Several years of experience in the legal department of an international company and project business.
3. Knowledge of German civil law and public procurement law.
4. Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex issues clearly.
5. Proactive problem solver with a strong understanding of business.
6. Effective team leadership and independence in work.
7. Strategic, decisive, and confident in interactions with division management.
8. Business fluent in German and English.
