The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC) is the Business Unit managing and developing the HRS E-Commerce platforms of the well-known hotel portal businesses of HRS.de and HOTEL.DE. These platforms are evolving into more than just a booking portal. BTC offers its members, individual business travelers, and SMEs a range of exclusive services that enhance the travel experience. The goal of BTC is to drive growth and sustainable profitability by strengthening customer loyalty, supporting brand repositioning in the marketplace, and unlocking additional potential through optimized supplier management. BTC and its products play a key role in HRS's DACH strategy, focusing on disrupting the interaction between hotel and workplace supply with e-commerce, and dominating the Business Travel DACH market. Your mission is to further develop and shape 'The HRS Business Travel Club' and its solutions, making it a leading innovation within the HRS Group, alongside a talented team.

POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX / UI Designer to foster growth and innovation in our customer-facing platforms across web and app. This role is crucial for enhancing user experience, optimizing customer journeys, and applying data-driven design strategies.

CHALLENGE

• Lead the design and development of high-quality, user-centered designs from concept to implementation for web and mobile applications. Promote best practices organization-wide.
• Create inspiring and intuitive product solutions that simplify users' lives. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design improvements.
• Develop, prototype, and evaluate innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and meet business and customer needs.
• Mentor and guide fellow designers, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative, creative environment.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance our design processes and outputs.
• Manage the development and upkeep of our design system and internal design workflows.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

• Senior-level experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in web and mobile applications, preferably in a digital start-up or scale-up environment.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design solutions. Skilled in balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Profound knowledge of Figma, especially in product design, prototyping, complex design systems, and developer handover.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
