Rheinmetall IT Solutions GmbH is seeking a Vice President for Global Network Services with locations in Düsseldorf, Neuenstadt, Berlin, Bremen, Unterlüß, Kassel, Kiel, or remote if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Development and management of the “Network Services” department
• Responsibility for network services focusing on DC-LAN, LAN, WAN, security services in an international environment
• Optimization and harmonization of IT services considering new technologies and trends
• Collaboration with other service and process managers to ensure smooth IT operations
• Knowledge transfer from the current service provider
• Taking over operations from the external service provider and ensuring internal continuation
• International coordination, integration, and technical management of teams across locations
• Standardization and harmonization of network services
• Implementation and support of network projects
• Coordination with other divisions and external service providers

Qualifications:

• Degree in information technology, business administration, or comparable training
• Extensive experience in IT operations/network operations
• Management experience in leading teams
• Experience managing external service providers
• Methodical knowledge; certifications in project management and ITIL preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to go the extra mile
• Leadership in employee transformation and development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel
