Description

Here at Syneos Health, we are currently recruiting for a Local Clinical Trial Manager to be home-based from anywhere in Germany. This sponsor-dedicated role is for one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. The position is part of our FSP 360 team (Functional Service Provider), which aims to meet the individual needs and goals of the client you will be supporting. You will be working on international trials, with responsibilities focused on Germany.

Job Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Delivery:

  • Manage projects as Project Manager overseeing interdisciplinary clinical research programs, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure project launch, conduct, and closeout in collaboration with the Customer’s team, adhering to contractual agreements.
  • Lead the clinical team to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget management.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Maintain and evaluate project progress using timelines and tracking/analysis tools.
  • Prepare for inspection readiness across all project aspects, including Trial Master Files.
  • Develop and implement project plans in line with Controlled Documents.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and present project material at internal and external meetings.
  • Generate project management reports for management.
  • Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Management:

  • Train and support new Project Managers.
  • Facilitate team training according to protocol and project requirements, including therapeutic, protocol-specific, and process training.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field; higher degrees (MSc/PhD) are preferred.
  • CRA background prior to CTM role.
  • Experience leading multiple complex Oncology trials independently as a local CTM in Germany.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Flexibility and ability to mentor and manage staff, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
