About the Role:

You will identify and develop new market opportunities by translating customer needs and market trends into material and design requirements. Your role involves providing technical support, securing business, and driving growth for engineering plastics. Acting as a key link between R&D and Sales, you will generate business insights to shape future products, leveraging your senior experience.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in global market segments for engineering plastics.
  • Translate customer needs into material, design, and functional requirements to secure existing and new business.
  • Support business operations through effective project management and CRM tools.
  • Provide technical support to ensure product quality and processing performance.
  • Analyze market and technology trends to inform new product development.
  • Develop strategic value propositions and contribute to business planning.
  • Create marketing and communication materials in collaboration with the team.

Qualifications:

  • MSc/PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Technology with industry experience.
  • Familiarity with processing technologies for engineering plastics (e.g., injection molding, extrusion).
  • Strong technical, conceptual, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; German or French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10–25%).
