Job Overview

Fugro Germany is seeking a Service Line Controller and Business Partner Land (m/f/d) based in Berlin, with occasional travel required. Partial remote work is possible.

The role reports to the Regional Business Line Controller and involves supporting financial controls, business support for Service Lines, and liaising with various teams including the Shared Service Centre, Local, Regional, and Group teams in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial guidance to the Service Lines in the Land Division.
• Conduct project controlling in collaboration with the Regional Project Controller in the Netherlands.
• Assist with planning, reporting, IFRS-based closing, and controlling activities, including budgeting and forecasting, and prepare monthly reports.
• Build relationships with business, project controllers, and finance teams to coordinate financial activities.
• Ensure proper accounting policies and controls are in place, driving process improvements and documentation.
• Shape finance controlling activities with comprehensive organizational knowledge and promote new working methods.

Candidate Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent
• 5-8 years relevant experience, project controlling experience preferred
• Experience in international companies
• Practical, proactive approach
• Basic accounting and IFRS knowledge
• ERP experience (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics/Navision) advantageous
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
• Strong analytical, communication, and team skills
• Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
