As we move toward formal company formation, our goal is to build a sustainable, tech-driven business that contributes to the energy transition and digitalization of the building sector.

Role Overview

We are seeking a volunteer start-up mentor with experience in entrepreneurship, project management, and early-stage business development. You will act as a strategic sparring partner for the founder during the critical pre-founding phase—guiding decisions, providing feedback, and potentially helping lay the groundwork for future co-funding or strategic roles.

Responsibilities

1. Advise on the development of the business model and roadmap
2. Offer strategic input on the founding process, team building, and company structure
3. Share insights into funding strategies and investor readiness
4. Support decision-making through regular mentoring sessions (remote or in person)
5. Provide guidance on mental resilience and founder well-being
6. Optionally contribute to marketing and outreach strategy

Ideal Profile

1. Background in business (MBA, Bachelor's, or equivalent experience)
2. Experience in founding or advising start-ups, ideally in engineering, IT, or green tech
3. Project management skills and an understanding of the start-up lifecycle
4. Interest or expertise in mental health or founder well-being
5. Familiarity with the German or European start-up ecosystem
6. Open to a long-term role (e.g., co-funding, advisory board)
7. Willingness to create a DEI-minded (not-for-profit) company
8. Clean European criminal record
