    The V.I.E or Volontariat International en Entreprise is an international mobility program secured by the French State. It allows a company under French law to entrust a professional mission abroad and is available to citizens of the European Economic Area, aged 18 to 28 (at the beginning of the program).

    In the Light Rail business segment, we are responsible for the development and delivery of trams, streetcars and light metros. This includes, among others, the following electrical engineering activities:

    • Perform design and performance calculations for electric systems
    • Specification and verification of technical requirements
    • Creation of internal and external documentation
    • Development of innovative energy saving and driver assistance functions
    • Support Design to Cost (DtC) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) activities
    • Support experienced engineers in their day-to-day activities and gradually take over more responsibilities in the engineering team
    • Testing on our vehicles

    As "VIE - Electrical Engineer for Light Rail" you get to know the complete electrical development cycle of a light rail vehicle, including schematics, wiring, integration and system engineering.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor / Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering are
    • Business fluent in English is mandatory - German is a plus
    • Knowledge of traction/power systems is a plus
    • Knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus
    • Knowledge in the field of electromagnetic compatibility is a plus
    • Knowledge of a programming language (Java(Script), VBA, C/C#/C++) is a plus
    • Open-minded to work in an international diverse team
