The US Business Tax Group at EY in Frankfurt/Main provides high-quality tax consulting and compliance solutions to a wide range of clients. Our practice is well established and the leader for US tax solutions in Germany. We have experienced, talented, and innovative professionals dedicated to teamwork and client service. Our services include real estate, cross-border taxation of high net-worth individuals, mergers and acquisitions, related parties/controlled groups, foreign personal holding companies, passive foreign investment companies, controlled foreign corporations, among others. Your tasks will include:

• Interfacing with team members and clients to understand the desired consulting/compliance deliverables
• Analyzing data, performing research, drafting memoranda, preparing work papers/tax returns according to professional standards
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the end product and performing quality assurance procedures
• Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
• Sharing knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery

What you can contribute – skills for shaping the future

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; a master’s degree in taxation/accounting or a law degree with significant taxation coursework is desirable
• Previous accounting experience and CPA/Enrolled Agent certification are preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to learning in an international tax environment
