Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support the implementation, optimization, and integration of business applications within our on-premises environment. This role involves technical consulting, interface development, prototyping, automation, and training.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the implementation and optimization of business applications, including configuration and customization.
2. Provide technical consulting for new applications and processes.
3. Develop interfaces and integrate systems through programming.
4. Verify technical feasibility of solutions via prototypes and lean development.
5. Act as a technical contact and sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Conduct feasibility analyses and develop prototypes to evaluate innovative solutions.
7. Automate workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
8. Support colleagues through training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience implementing business applications (CRM, PLM, ERP) in on-premises systems.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
• Strong skills in interface development, databases, and web app development; experience with Docker and container architecture is a plus.
• Practical, hands-on mentality with a passion for implementing solutions.
• Experience in project management and technical consulting, preferably in interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and team skills, with the ability to liaise between IT, service providers, and business units.
• Experience with automation technologies and AI (ML, LLM) is desirable.
