At B. Braun, we are committed to protecting and improving health worldwide. We seek a (Junior) Prozessexperte (w/m/d) Kunststoffverarbeitung to join our team at the Center of Excellence Infusion & Pain Therapy in Melsungen.

The Plastics Processes team within Strategic Engineering develops innovative manufacturing processes for plastics and supports global production sites in process development and optimization.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working on international projects related to plastic processing (injection molding, ultrasonic welding, gluing, extrusion)
2. Analyzing, evaluating, developing, and optimizing technologies and processes
3. Supporting the conception of innovative processes considering product, cost, and quality requirements
4. Applying statistical design of experiments to evaluate and optimize process technologies
5. Collaborating with international expert teams and global production sites

Qualifications include:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering sciences with a focus on plastics processing or medical technology
• Fundamental knowledge of materials science related to plastics
• Ideally, some professional experience in plastic processing and familiarity with design of experiments, qualification, and validation
• Proficiency in German and English
