Job Description

Vestas Nacelles Deutschland GmbH specializes in the development, production, and repair of wind turbine generators to generate sustainable energy solutions. It is a division of Vestas Wind Systems A/S in Denmark, a globally established manufacturer of wind turbines.

Responsibilities

  • Apply leadership to secure safety, quality, delivery, and cost across factories and cultures
  • Manage a diverse and experienced team
  • Deploy Quality Strategy and Policy, fostering a customer-focused zero-failure culture
  • Drive quality improvements by influencing processes, supporting defect elimination, and process optimization
  • Handle internal and customer audits and implement best practices
  • Ensure compliance with control plans using statistical process control and capability analysis
  • Support generator manufacturing in lean production and equipment setup

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, with experience in engineering or production
  • Several years of experience in a quality or engineering environment
  • Proficiency in product verification and validation
  • Knowledge of quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt)
  • Auditor experience is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office, including presentation skills
  • Strong in quality and technical support, with experience in organizational development and NPI
  • Leadership skills in change management and managerial courage
  • Budget management experience
  • Excellent cooperation and communication skills
  • Customer-focused, technical, and results-oriented
  • Fluent in English and German
