Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to join our team, working on innovative and creative marketing activities for B2C and B2B clients across the DACH region. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker who is digitally and socially obsessed, deeply interested in technology, and skilled at recognizing insights and translating them into actionable strategies for clients and creative teams. What You Can Expect
- Develop sophisticated strategic concepts and cross-channel communication experiences.
- Create data-driven analyses and research (market, competitors, target groups) for a strong strategic foundation.
- Develop insights and data-driven creative briefs with clearly defined goals and client strategy documents.
- Identify innovative business areas, trends, and technologies, and assess implications for clients.
- Lead strategic content on client projects, regularly present to and consult with clients.
- Design and facilitate strategy and creative workshops within the team and with clients.
- Ensure high-quality creative work while adhering to timing and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with creation and performance teams to enhance digital marketing content.
- Test and evaluate new marketing channels and advertising formats.
- Stay updated with digital marketing trends, evaluate new technologies, and integrate them into strategies.
- Experiment with AI tools and technologies to drive innovative marketing solutions.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support integrated programs.
- Guide junior team members.
What We Would Love to See
- At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic planning within a creative agency.
- Expertise in B2C marketing, FMCG, and retail communication; e-commerce and CRM experience are a plus.
- Data-driven and user-centric mindset and working style.
- Passion for conceptual ideas and developing digital ecosystems.
- Proven track record of creating effective brand and communication strategies that deliver business outcomes.
- Digital-first strategic thinking and understanding of challenges and opportunities faced by consumer brands and retailers.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies in marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Positive, proactive attitude, sense of humor, collaborative spirit, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both German and English is required.
