Team Lead Automated Production Systems (all genders)

Your mission

Lead our core technology team for advanced industrial automation systems that produce complex fiber composites, catering to our renowned customers in aerospace and renewable energy. Your diverse team, composed of mechanical and automation engineers, engages in solution development as well as in customer implementations at industrial facilities worldwide. Close collaboration with our teams in software and application development will ensure success in meeting the high quality standards that our customers demand. Your tasks

• Lead and manage the Production Technology team, consisting of four engineers, reporting to the Technical Director – this role is part of the Leadership Team at Cevotec
• Conceptualize, plan, and implement industrial production equipment for high-performance composite components, including regular direct customer contact and supplier negotiations
• Oversee project specifications and planning,with responsibility for technical modules
• Conduct studies, technical analyses, and system optimizations within our R&D initiatives
• Support and guide your team hands-onduringdesign, procurement and assembly activities, especially facilitating collaboration with external partners and suppliers
• Take responsibility for commissioning activities at customer sites and with suppliers

Your profile

• Master’s degree in mechatronics, automation engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
• 5 years + of professional experience in designing automated production systems and exposure to control systems
• Experience in leading and managing a teamof engineers
• Experience in project work,ideally including project management
• Proficiency with CAD systems; experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus
• Fluency in written and spoken English, German skills are a strong plus
• Self-motivated and positive personality,with strong analytical thinking
• Well-organized and independent working style, focused on accuracy, reliability, and quality
• Willingness to travel worldwide(~10%, e.g. conceptualization, commissioning, service)
