The Role

Are you a skilled Buyer passionate about sustainability and cost optimization? Do you excel in negotiation, collaboration, and possess analytical skills to drive results? If so, join us as a Buyer to execute strategic logistics procurement.

Based in Grünheide (Mark), reporting to the Group Manager Logistics Procurement, you should have experience in procurement commodity management, strategy setup, and vendor management. Knowledge of markets and carriers, and contract negotiation experience in logistics are preferred.

What You'll Do

• Assist in sourcing processes, including issuing RFx’s, gathering supplier information, and evaluating quotes
• Utilize procurement tools (ERP, CLM, RFQ) to follow sourcing guidelines and support contracting approvals
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze market trends, and evaluate supplier performance
• Support negotiations and facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams
• Develop cost breakdowns and analyze pricing for cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to align strategies
• Drive adoption of automated transport solutions to improve efficiency
• Stay informed on market trends and sourcing risks
• Evaluate new suppliers to support strategic goals
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related
• 1-5 years experience in logistics procurement
• Strong data analysis skills
• Exceptional negotiation and supplier management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of responsible sourcing and sustainable procurement
• Work primarily from Grünheide (Mark) with occasional travel
