Annual Salary Range:

$180,000 to $220,000 with Full Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and PTO.

Description:

Base-2 Solutions seeks a top-tier software engineer to join our team. We aim to solve complex customer problems through innovative technical solutions. Our engineers develop next-generation technologies impacting national defense, with expertise in areas like information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, AI, NLP, and UI design. Candidates should be versatile, demonstrate leadership, and be eager to tackle new challenges to advance technology.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, algorithms, large data manipulation, real-time systems, and business management systems, based on documented requirements. Work independently or in teams. Review and test software components for compliance and document results. Resolve software issues. Apply appropriate development methodologies. Contribute to system design, considering hardware/software trade-offs, reuse, COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis from system to component levels.

Experience with some or all of the following:

• Programming languages: Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Ruby, Go
• IDEs: Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, Visual Studio, VS Code
• Operating systems: Windows, Unix, Linux, macOS
• Tools: Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub, ServiceNow
• Frameworks: Spring, Angular, Bootstrap
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
• Build tools: Maven, Jenkins
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• Configuration tools: Git, SVN, CVS
• Cloud providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

Requirements:

• 14+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance
