Quality Control Manager
We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to join us at Honeywell, in Ireland or Germany. You will be responsible for partnering with the sales team to manage customer communications on quality issues, collaborating with the Geismar plant QC team and European testing labs, and understanding quality processes for various materials. Responsibilities also include handling customer quality complaints, conducting site visits for information gathering, and arranging audits.
This is a remote role with up to 30% travel within Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage customer communications regarding quality topics, supporting the Geismar plant QC team and European testing labs such as Crealis.
- Understand and communicate the end-to-end quality process for bulk, blended, and packaged materials, coordinating with the ISC team on sampling and inventory management.
- Manage responses to customer quality complaints, including collecting feedback, retained sample collection, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Conduct site visits to customers for insights on product usage and arrange audits or quality reviews, working with the vendor quality team on supplier audit plans.
- Align the quality approach with IATA 16949 certification, participate in recertification efforts, and interpret automotive standards like ASHRAE and SAE.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Strong background in automotive or other OEM quality environments (OEM/Tier1/Supplier).
- B.S. in Chemistry or Engineering preferred.
- Experience with VDA, SAE, ASHRAE, IATA standards.
- Successful track record in supplier or customer audits.
- Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt preferred.
