The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Candidates should be adept at prospecting (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), developing, and closing business in a timely manner, focusing on client requirements. The AE must have confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements, supporting new customers through onboarding.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales quotas for assigned accounts and territory, developing strategic sales plans.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive revenue growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake solutions.
- Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
- Conduct executive-level discussions and positioning meetings.
- Manage sales processes and close opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing account management to ensure satisfaction and additional revenue.
Ideal Candidate:
- BA/BS degree required.
- 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud technologies.
- Over 5 years focused on generating new enterprise business.
- Proven ability to independently develop and close new client relationships.
- Experience achieving annual quotas of $800k+ ARR and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
- Strong activity, pipeline, and quota achievement record.
- Skilled in understanding customer requirements and presenting solutions.
- Proactive, energetic, positive attitude, with excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Fluent in German.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with MEDDPICC methodology.
- Experience selling software or cloud applications to enterprise clients.
