About the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV)

Your Tasks
- Support a motivated team in operational management of telecommunications surveillance (TKÜ).
- Manage responsibilities towards external and internal bodies.
- Provide 2nd level support and administer relevant software tools.
- Support application operations for procedures within your unit.
- Serve as the contact person for trainee IT specialists in system integration.

Salary and Prospects
- Permanent employment up to pay grade 12 TV EntgO Bund, with potential for civil servant status (€53,380.10 to €83,414.27 annually).
- Potential transfer to civil servant status up to A 11 BBesO A, subject to legal requirements.

Your Profile
Must be a German citizen and have:
- An IHK trainer aptitude certificate, or
- A completed university degree (Bachelor/Dipl. [FH]) in computer science or business informatics, or
- Equivalent skills/experience demonstrated through relevant activities, or
- At least two years of professional experience as an IT specialist in system integration.
Students graduating within twelve months after the deadline are also eligible to apply.
Additional Expectations
- Proven experience supervising IT trainee specialists.
- In-depth knowledge of IT operations, project management, network, and server technology.
- Willingness to be on call and travel for work.
