This position involves daily interaction with customers, business partners, and internal teams. Working alongside the Financial Services Enterprise Relationship Manager, you will manage the customer journey from discovery to post-sales handover. Key responsibilities include documenting customer opportunities in the CRM, tracking technical issues in the IGEL support system, and using this system to delegate tasks, engage peers, and advance sales opportunities. The role may require travel of 25%-75%, depending on customer or marketing activities. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. You will join an experienced, supportive team committed to sharing knowledge to help you succeed.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide excellent service as part of a team of engineers to customers and partners
• Demonstrate IGEL solutions remotely and assist during Proof-of-Concept phases
• Explain solution architecture based on IGEL reference architecture and best practices
• Resolve technical issues at the operating system level
• Build and maintain relationships through on-site visits and virtual meetings
• Manage technical issues and sales opportunities by creating cases in the helpdesk system
• Position IGEL services and support to meet customer needs
• Promote IGEL training and certifications
• Represent IGEL at industry events and tradeshows
• Escalate technical cases to keep sales opportunities moving forward
• Ensure clear, professional communication with teams and customers
• Contribute to technical documentation and guides
• Engage in ongoing education through training and reading technical materials
• Experience working with channel partners is preferred
• Build strong relationships with key partner contacts and share best practices
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
• Collaborate with Development, Customer Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams

Technical Skills

• Preferred experience in Financial Services Sales Engineering
• Knowledge of core business applications (e.g., Jack Henry, RiskTurn, Reuters, SAP, Bloomberg, Office)
• Experience with call center applications (e.g., Five9, Avaya, Genesys) is a plus
• Familiarity with Linux OS
• Experience with IGEL OS or similar Thin Client/Endpoint systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of Windows OS
• Experience with Remote Desktop, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS, Citrix, VMware Horizon
• Understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and partner solutions
