DIVERA GmbH digitizes and accelerates processes for companies, authorities, fire departments and aid organizations. To this end, we develop and operate the alerting and availability system DIVERA 24/7 as a SaaS platform.
With our app, customers are able to reach their own personnel within seconds in the event of emergencies, operational disruptions and other critical incidents.
Together with you, we want to further develop the Android app and expand its range of functions. As an Android specialist, you can expect a position with a lot of responsibility and just one goal: to build the perfect app. Become our Android expert!
Tasks
- Independent further development of the in-house app, currently 90% Java, Kotlin is ongoing!
- Integration of REST interfaces, programming of individual views, etc.
- Consideration of compatibility for older smartphones, currently up to Android 8
- Continuous collaboration with the other IT specialists, including when it comes to design, client-server architecture and testing
Qualification
- Experience with Java, Kotlin and native Android apps
- Understanding databases and web interfaces
- High demands on your own code, including testability and maintainability of the software
- A feel for contemporary interface design and the optimal user experience
- Experience with Android Studio, FCM, Git and Jira an advantage

Onboarding
Step by step to success
- A probationary period interview is held regularly to review the induction plan.
- In the 2nd and 3rd month, you will receive specialist induction training from your colleagues.
- We agree on a challenge, which we prepare together in the 4th month.
- In the 5th month, you implement it on your own responsibility and present the result to us - trial period passed!
