The Senior Credit Support Specialist is responsible for assessing and evaluating the feasibility of credit request and providing structuring solutions within acceptable credit / risk parameters, while developing the Bank's lending portfolio in line with the Bank's strategy and risk appetite.

  • Analyse complex credit requests in full autonomy and develop and implement solutions within acceptable credit / risk parameters. Be the point of contact for these activities.
  • Ensure credit structuring / granting is aligned with Bank's Risk appetite, limits, Policy, and Procedures.
  • Provide the credit rating for requests.
  • Within the Delegation Authority Framework, decide on complex credit files.
  • Responsible for business development and revenues growth remaining within Bank's Risk Appetite.
  • Play a key role in credit approval process and ensure the implementation of credit files in line with the decision.
  • Check the data quality of the credit request (in the systems and in the credit sheet).
  • Proactively propose solutions to improve processes and data collection.
  • Follow up of the regularization of the Margin Call and excess of max limit for Lombard Loan.
  • Train and guide on the various processes and projects within the team; be able to convince and influence others.
  • Ensure that all client-facing activities are efficiently executed and compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Master's degree in Economic, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector, or in a relevant position.
  • Fluency in French and English. Any other language is an asset.
  • Good understanding of Laws & Regulations, Tax, Data Collection & Analysis, and Systems.
  • Strong Knowledge of Credit Expertise, Guarantees, Risk Assessment & Mitigation, and Negotiation.
  • Excellent Understanding of Credit Products Knowledge, and Policies & Procedures.
  • Autonomous and responsible, shows sound judgement and courage when needed.
  • Effective and structured communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Positive mindset, open to growing and learning.
  • Solution-oriented with complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
