CeGaT GmbH, founded in Tübingen in 2009, combines medical expertise with NextGeneration Sequencing (NGS) to answer questions from medicine, science and the pharmaceutical industry worldwide. As a leading provider of human genetic diagnostics, we help doctors to find the genetic cause of rare diseases. We support oncologists and cancer patients in understanding and treating the disease. For research and the pharmaceutical industry, we offer a broad portfolio of sequencing services and tumor analyses. We generate the data basis for your clinical studies and medical innovations and continue to drive science forward with our own findings. Our laboratory is accredited according to CAP/CLIA and DIN ENISO 15189. To ensure results of the highest quality, all processes are carried out in-house under scientific supervision.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• You will actively shape the further development of our hybrid server landscape: whether Windows or Linux-based systems - you will ensure that our IT infrastructure remains performant, secure and future-proof.
• You get new IT services off the ground: from the initial idea to planning and successful implementation - your technical expertise and innovative spirit shape our digital development. You maintain an overview of a complex IT system landscape.
• You are a high-level troubleshooter: as part of 2nd and 3rd level support, you analyze complex error patterns, find sustainable solutions and make a significant contribution to system stability.
• You ensure adherence to the highest quality and compliance standards: ISO 15189 and CAP/CLIA as well as ISO 27001 are not just requirements for you, but a lived expectation of your work. WHAT WE EXPECT:
• Degree or training in the field of computer science
• Strong analytical skills and technical understanding
• Sound knowledge of IT infrastructures, ITSM and IT security
• Customer orientation and solution-oriented thinking
• Knowledge of English (written and spoken)
