Staff Software Engineer (Hypervisor/R&D)

The Role Virtual Prototypes are simulation models for a variety of electronic platforms in the automotive, enterprise, telecommunications or cloud market today. Our Virtual Prototyping team delivers these models to customers and enables them to start with product development long before hardware is available.

Do you have a previous exposure to hypervisor technology? Are you interested in developing your knowledge within new generation of virtualization technology? Our R&D Team in Aachen is growing across different levels and we would like to hear from you even if you don't feel like you meet all of the criteria.

This is a hybrid role with up to 3 days on-site in Aachen.

In your new role you will:

• Develop hypervisor technology for Virtual Prototyping
• Work with an expert team around hypervisor and virtualization technology

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar
• Experience in a software development position
• Background in virtualization technology
• Solid C/C++ programming language skills

Preferred Experience:

• C/C++ Programming language
• Understanding of ARM processor architectures
• Knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Agile SW engineering methodologies
