Job Description

As a Lead Engineer I&C (w/m/d), you will be part of an international project team, developing customer-specific control system solutions for power plants, wind farms, Power-to-X projects, and more. You will be at the forefront of aligning customer needs with our company's values, working in a dynamic environment to ensure project success while maintaining control over costs and schedules. Your interpersonal skills will enhance project outcomes and surpass safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead projects in control technology, electrical engineering, and digitalization globally, promoting new constructions and modernization efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Translate customer requirements to ensure technical and financial success, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  3. Clarify I&C task definitions in coordination with electrical, process, and mechanical engineering teams.
  4. Foster knowledge exchange within the project management team and relevant units.
  5. Create technical specifications and inquiry documents.
  6. Participate in the development and optimization of interfaces, responsible for design review processes.

Qualifications

  1. Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, automation engineering, or a comparable technical qualification with relevant industry experience.
  2. Experience in engineering or commissioning electrical and control systems, with project management knowledge as a plus.
  3. Advanced knowledge of I&C system architecture and technologies (preferably Omnivise T3000).
  4. Excellent command of English and German, both spoken and written.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, empathy, strong team spirit, initiative, result orientation, decisiveness, and organizational talent.
  6. Ability to work in an (virtual) international and intercultural team.
