As Black Belt Business Unit (BU) High Voltage Products, you will be responsible for integrating and leading local or global task force teams in effectively resolving major quality issues or other problems, following appropriate solution methods such as Lean Six Sigma, APQP, or similar.

You may coach task force teams using real cases or case studies for practical implementation, driving business results and supporting skill and competency enhancement across operating units throughout the BU and regions (HUBs).

This position can be fulfilled remotely within Europe, with a focus on skills and experience over physical location.

Your responsibilities

  1. Actively lead and implement key projects aimed at improving quality, reducing costs, increasing productivity, and enhancing cycle time by minimizing waste, rework, etc., resulting in significant business improvements and higher customer satisfaction.
  2. Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and reports on key responsibilities and objectives.
  3. Consult with leaders and teams across the company to identify, diagnose, and solve organizational development and effectiveness issues, implementing work group intervention strategies and creating team processes for optimal results.
  4. Support the deployment of BU Quality strategy by utilizing BU Black Belt and Green Belt resources effectively. Collaborate with executive leadership to select and prioritize projects aligned with strategic goals.
  5. Lead, run, or support strategic Black Belt projects across Global Product Groups (GPGs), Regions (HUBs), and BUs.
  6. Mentor, facilitate, and coach Green Belt certification processes and ongoing coaching initiatives.

Your background

  1. Extensive experience (8+ years) in manufacturing and business environments.
  2. At least 5 years of experience leading Lean or Six Sigma improvement projects or applying associated tools.
  3. Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  4. Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, statistics, and graphical interpretation.
  5. Ability to connect and bring together the right expertise, valuing diversity.
  6. Strong character with capacity to manage change effectively.
  7. Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills (DMAIC, 8D, A3, 3-Legged 5 Why).
  8. Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  9. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to other locations and factories.
