Business Development Executive (m/f/d)

As part of our European growth, we are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and results-driven Business Development Executive (m/f/d) to drive growth. This role focuses on optimizing sales processes and strategies, including outbound prospecting, and can be based either in our Saarbrücken office or as a hybrid role within Germany. Occasional business travel (approximately 15%) to partners and customers throughout Europe may be required.

Your Tasks:

  1. Primary Focus: Spend approximately 70% of your time engaging with new customers.
  2. Lead Generation: Identify and qualify prospects across Europe, passing high-value opportunities to Business Development Managers in the field.
  3. Market Insights: Share customer and market insights to address challenges and present tailored solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  4. CRM Management: Use CRM tools to track activities, own CRM metrics for the PRO sales team, and report periodically on the prospect and sales pipeline and success rates.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with Finance and Inventory teams to improve sales forecasting and inventory accuracy.
  6. Optimize cross-functional processes such as pricing, pricelists, and order management to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
  7. Lead end-to-end onboarding of new customers.
  8. Understand inbound and outbound call-center dynamics, managing staffing, themes, and shortening the order-to-cash cycle. Proactively seek insights and share them to improve business performance.
  9. Partner with leadership on strategic projects like freight efficiency, customer communication, and promotional pricing.
  10. Manage customer-facing internal teams.

Your Qualifications:

  1. 3-5+ years of experience in an internal sales environment, leading a team (B2B or B2C).
  2. Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools (preferably HubSpot or Salesforce).
  3. Understanding of pricing change processes.
  4. Fluent in English, German, and French; additional European languages are a plus.
