You will manage applications within the European energy market to guarantee the EEX Group service quality and resilience towards internal and external customers. Your work will directly influence the European power market – a growing and highly regulated market seeking further innovation. Automation, quality, and high availability are of extreme importance to us. We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to operate our applications in a modern OpenShift environment built on RedHat operating systems. Responsibilities include ensuring the orderly operation of applications, defining functional release requirements, and participating in release testing. Within a diverse team, you will contribute to stable operations, share knowledge, support on-call duties, and work on continuous improvements of applications and processes to enhance operational effectiveness.

• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems like Debian and RedHat
• Experience with Github for source code and documentation management
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible
• Know-how and hands-on experience with ITIL Framework and DevOps principles
• Knowledge of testing strategies, requirements tracking, test analysis, and quality assurance
• Database management skills with MySQL or Postgres
• Ideally, experience in a regulated banking environment
• An influencer mindset eager to collaborate and improve the status quo
• Very good English language skills
