Join us as a Cash Management specialist across the Financial Institutions and non-Bank Payment Service Providers (FI&NBPSP), Broker Dealers, and Alternative Finance institutions. You will play a critical role in delivering leading-edge cash management advice through the sale of complex cash management and liquidity solutions, including our working capital product set. In this role, you'll contribute to achieving the Cash income plan by acquiring new business and protecting income lines from potential competitors.

You will build and maintain strong customer relationships with key clients through effective planning, develop new banking business with tailored and competitive pricing, and integrate our solutions with customers' internal systems. Your goal will be to influence larger business customers at both board and operational levels.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong selling, influencing, and negotiating abilities
  • Proven experience working with Financial Institutions (FI) and Non-Bank Payment Service Providers (NBPSP)
  • In-depth knowledge of payments and liquidity solutions
  • Familiarity with the correspondent banking landscape
  • Experience in cash management services and solutions
  • Ability to contribute to strategic efforts to establish Barclays as a market leader in this space

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

This role is based in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, or Milan and is deemed a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland regulations, possibly requiring mandatory regulatory qualifications.

Purpose of the role

To generate revenue and promote the bank's product and service offerings to various customer segments.

Accountabilities

  • Identify potential customers, analyze their needs, and stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies
  • Create detailed profiles for target segments to tailor sales approaches and products
  • Manage relationships through high-quality support, responding to queries, resolving issues, and understanding clients' financial goals
  • Understand and communicate the features, benefits, risks, and regulatory requirements of banking products
  • Develop compelling sales pitches and negotiate beneficial terms
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies
  • Monitor sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
