Position Details:

Senior IT Service Manager - Application Lifecycle Management (m/w/d)

Start: Immediately, full-time, nationwide at a BWI location.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the service and operation of customer applications throughout their lifecycle.
  2. Lead the service team professionally.
  3. Ensure contractual service delivery and quality, including SLAs and costs.
  4. Maintain compliance and operational processes in Application Hosting.
  5. Contribute to solution design, implementation, and development of new applications and services.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or comparable training in Business and/or IT.
  2. Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience and leadership in IT, especially in government or industrial projects.
  3. Excellent knowledge of IT services such as Managed Servers, Managed Databases, Virtualization, Middleware, and Networking, preferably in data center environments.
  4. Knowledge of ITIL, agile methods, and experience in operational management, migrations, or outsourcing projects, ideally in a government setting.
  5. Goal-oriented, good delegation and communication skills, responsible, meticulous, and conscientious working style.
  6. Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing.
