We are looking for a Network Manager Rheumatology (m/f/d) East to serve as a catalyst for collaboration between UCB and national and regional stakeholders in the eastern part of Germany.

About the role

In this role, you will ensure operations meet the highest productivity standards while maintaining scientific, ethical, compliance, and quality standards when interacting with external stakeholders, following the UCB Code of Conduct and industry guidelines.

Who you'll work with

This role involves working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Market Access, External Engagement, National Sales Lead (NSL), Ecosystem Leads, Hospital Key Account Managers, Medical Strategy Lead, Marketing Strategy Lead, Medical and Marketing Solution Leads, Digital Solution Lead, Patient Solution Lead, HCPP, and UCB Cares to ensure optimal engagement at the account and association levels, helping to position UCB as a future market leader in Rheumatology.

What you'll do

  • Identify, develop, and maintain cooperation with relevant rheumatology customer networks (e.g., professional associations at national and regional levels, DGRh, BDRh, quality networks, EOL, rheuma centers) in collaboration with Market Access, Hospital Key Account, Medical, Marketing, Sales, and Patient Solutions teams.
  • Position UCB Rheumatology portfolio at national and regional payers/HCP tables, KV/HCP meetings, pharmacies, and engage these stakeholders in projects aligned with UCB's patient value strategy.
  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with relevant rheumatology networks to develop successful strategic partnerships.
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects with strong project management skills and evaluate results.
  • Lead project-related initiatives.
  • Maintain budget responsibility for networking projects within the Rheuma Franchise.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the rheumatology business, including customer needs and brand marketing strategies.

Interested?

We are looking for candidates with the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Certificate as a pharmaceutical sales representative and/or a university degree in business administration, pharmacy, or natural sciences (§ 75 AMG).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Market Access, External Engagement, or Sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and key account management.
  • Ability to translate scientific and clinical data into compelling selling rationale.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Ability to travel 70% and reside permanently in the specified area.
