Your mission & challenges:

As a Buyer, you will play a key role in procurement and supplier management to ensure that our production is consistently supplied with high-quality components. Your main tasks include:

• Identifying and selecting suitable suppliers, obtaining and comparing offers, as well as conducting price negotiations and contract agreements
• Ensuring on-time delivery and quality control of procured goods
• Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with suppliers, regularly evaluating suppliers for price, quality, and delivery reliability, and developing measures to improve supplier performance
• Monitoring inventory levels and conducting stock analyses, coordinating with production planning to ensure continuous material supply, and implementing and optimizing inventory management strategies
• Analyzing market trends and developments, identifying innovation and cost-saving potentials, and conducting benchmarking studies
• Participating in project meetings, and supporting the definition of technical requirements
• Ensuring the availability of components for prototypes and series production
• Supporting in setting up and designing processes in the ERP system

• Experience in supplier management and procurement of electronic components
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Ideally in-depth know-how in the field of ERP systems and process design
