What can you expect from us?
- Varied tasks in a team where you quickly take on a key role in the entire investment process, identify opportunities, conduct negotiations, and optimize internal processes in cooperation with other departments.
- Leading deal teams for transactions of onshore wind, PV projects, and battery storage systems (BESS) in Europe from sourcing to closing.
- Conducting comprehensive due diligence with internal experts and external consultants.
- Financial modeling of wind and solar parks.
- Negotiating commercial and contract terms (purchase agreements, general contractor agreements, etc.).
- Managing project financings and power purchase agreements (PPAs) in collaboration with internal departments.
- Presenting transactions and investment recommendations to the investment team, senior management, and supervisory board.
- As Team Lead Transactions, managing a team of 5-7 professionals, overseeing transactions, and supporting their professional development.
- Contributing to the continuous development of the investment area and helping achieve company goals.
Desired Profile
- Degree in business administration or industrial engineering, with additional qualification (MBA or CFA preferred).
- At least 7 years of transaction experience in wind, PV, and BESS sectors.
- Extensive network in renewable energies across Europe.
- Strong financial modeling skills for cash flow-based investments.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, flexible.
- Leadership experience and ability to manage demanding teams.
- Highly responsible and committed.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages like Italian, Spanish, Danish, or Dutch are a plus.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
