What the job looks like
Each day presents a variety of challenges, such as:

• Overseeing the IT service portfolio for Research, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic priorities
• Managing and optimizing budgets, resources, and assets to support business objectives
• Defining and communicating IT product scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining the IT product vision, goals, and roadmap
• Collaborating with IT Consultants and Process Owners to create and prioritize user stories
• Validating IT product design and architecture with the IT Service Owner to meet business needs
• Reviewing and approving deliverables, ensuring quality standards and acceptance criteria are met
• Providing ongoing feedback to project teams and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks

What you'll bring to the table
To excel in this role, you should have:

• An IT professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in international Pharma/Research IT
• A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in (business) computer science
• A strong background in processes and data in pharmaceutical research
• Solid knowledge of Pharma research IT solutions, challenges, and industry trends (e.g., chemical registration & ELN, biology ELN, OMICS data management, NMR/LC/MS data management, toxicology data management, data visualization, search, analysis, reporting, and workflows)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus
• Proven skills in project & product management of large and complex projects and products
• Advanced process management skills combined with proven change management ability
