E.ON Digital Technology is pivotal in shaping the energy transition by leading E.ON’s digital transformation across Europe. We develop innovative ideas, implement new technologies, and deliver sustainable solutions to address future energy challenges.
Our FEH IT team (Digital Solutions | Future Energy Home) develops and manages cloud-based software for home energy devices, including photovoltaic systems, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, heat pumps, and meters. We integrate with various vendors’ devices, providing centralized insights, analytics, and control mechanisms.

Meaningful & challenging tasks include:
- Matching system landscapes to business needs (Product Owner responsibility)
- Creating target architectures with support from Technical Solution Architects
- Aligning with Enterprise Architects for overall fit
- Assessing dependencies on other initiatives
- Clarifying business requirements and supporting the creation of user stories with Business Analysts
- Analyzing and evaluating business and IT requirements (functional and non-functional)
- Ensuring data privacy and IT security requirements are met
- Collaborating with Technical Solution Architects for technical translation
- Presenting solutions to Architecture Boards alongside Enterprise Architects
Our ideal candidate has:
- A Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or economics
- A passion for technology and innovation
- Significant experience in software development or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Design Thinking
- Deep understanding of software architecture, infrastructure, and cloud development
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with DevOps practices and organizations
- Fluent in German and English
