Autonomous Procurement Data Engineer

As a specialist in AWS QuickSight, you will join your product team to further develop our application, which automates the assignment of needed transport to specific logistics partners.

1. Handle the development and maintenance of an advanced middle layer and data pipeline, specifically optimized for analytics and business intelligence (BI) in our AWS RDS-hosted PostgreSQL database environment.
2. Assume full ownership of our BI environment, implementing and upholding data governance and quality standards to maintain data integrity and security.
3. Build and manage a database schema to align with analytics and BI requirements.
4. Focus on automation to facilitate efficient usage of Amazon QuickSight for analytics and BI.
5. Collaborate with solution consultants and product management to design and implement Amazon QuickSight analyses and dashboards that offer actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in data engineering, particularly with Amazon QuickSight for analytics and BI solutions.
• Expertise in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, especially within an AWS RDS environment.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and software development.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build data pipelines and schemas for BI and analytics.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, security practices, and compliance standards.
