Senior Java Software Developer (German speaking)

About :

Stott and May proudly collaborates with an established consultancy, who for 20 years, have been a key software partner to several german government departments. With a key long term project confirmed, they are looking to expand the Java Development team with numerous key hires

What you'll be doing :

• Develop business logic for both client and server-side applications based on customer requirements and architectural principles.
• Analyze and align (customer) requirements within project scopes.
• Perform error analysis in both internal and client-side test environments.
• Identify areas for optimization and code refactoring.
• Develop unit tests.

Skills & Experience :

• Complete university degree in field related to IT.
• At least fiveyears of experience working with Core Java in complex projects (preferably in desktop application development).
• Structured and results-oriented approach to work.
• Fluent in German - written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Version 8).
• Any experience you have with the following would be advantageous : GIT, Maven, EJB, Hibernate, Liquibase, Vaadin, JavaFX, Jenkins, Wildfly, JBoss EAP, Swing, Java Persistence API, Oracle DB 19c, XML, SOAP, JNI, C++, Citrix, Linux, Confluence, Jira.
