Solution Architect & Product Manager Identity & Access Management (f/m/d)

Your Mission

Join our global IT team and take full ownership for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) services worldwide. Design, implement, and operate efficient IAM processes based on Microsoft Entra ID. Ensure secure and seamless access for about 6400 employees across 120 locations in D/A/CH and North America, driving Klöckner and its customers to success.

Your Role

• Define and own Klöckner’s IAM strategy, roadmap, architecture, and operations model, leveraging Microsoft Entra ID and other Azure services
• Design end-to-end IAM solutions, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and user provisioning with Microsoft Entra ID
• Champion the integration of IAM solutions across the IT service landscape, ensuring proficient usage by employees and partners through training and resources
• Maintain high security and compliance standards by closely supervising IAM solutions managed by external service partners and mitigating operational risks
• Monitor, report, and optimize the costs associated with the IAM strategy
• Stay updated with market trends to ensure Klöckner’s IAM solutions meet security, compliance, and user experience needs
• Collaborate closely with other Microsoft 365, Azure, and infrastructure solution architects to create a state-of-the-art environment
• Drive collaboration in the Global Virtual Competence Center, fostering strong teamwork and a hands-on mentality across the global team

Technologies we currently use

Your Profile and Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Degree in (business) informatics, technical training, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Azure / Entra IAM architectures; certifications like SC-900, SC-300 and AZ-500 are a plus
• Proficiency in IAM standards and protocols (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
• Knowledge of IAM security and compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
• Understanding of ITIL or similar service management processes
• Strategic, architectural, and entrepreneurial thinker.
• Self-starter with a drive for results.
• Professional English skills

Nice to Haves:

• A minimum of 3 years in IT operations or IT service management is appreciated.
• Knowledge of other cloud or on-premises IAM solutions (e.g., AWS, Google, Okta, Ping Identity) for harmonization purposes
• Professional German skills
