Stress Engineer - Airplane Doors (d/m/f)
For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!
Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.
Your Tasks
- Conducting static and fatigue strength (F&DT) analyses of metallic and composite structures using established and new methods.
- Performing functional analysis and load determination of door mechanics using standard methods and multibody dynamics simulations.
- Supporting feasibility and trade studies, as well as design and manufacturing processes to enable product improvements.
- Reviewing predicted load values in comparison to test results.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering required.
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on the aerospace sector.
- Initial experience in stress analysis, fatigue, and damage tolerance processes/methods required.
- Knowledge of certification regulations for metallic and composite products needed.
- Experience in defining and calculating loads for structural components and assemblies, optimized for manufacturability, cost, and weight expected.
- Advanced knowledge of Python required.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office required.
- Experience with HyperWorks and HyperMesh required.
- Knowledge of Nastran needed.
- Familiarity with ISAMI would be an advantage.
- Experience with CATIA V5 would be beneficial.
