Role Description

In this position, you will be a vital part of the procurement organization for our internationally active clients, reporting to the "Head of Procurement for Materials & Services" and working closely with colleagues in the respective "Commodity".

Your main focus will be on ensuring an optimal supply of goods and services for development and manufacturing—"On-Time, On-Cost, On-Quality".

Responsibilities

1. Conduct needs analyses and create demand forecasts.
2. Request, evaluate, and negotiate offers with suppliers.
3. Place orders, monitor, and oversee the order process.
4. Assess supplier KPIs and provide recommendations for action.
5. Monitor the relevant supply chain and identify and implement savings potentials.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable practical experience with initial purchasing experience.
2. Familiarity with technical specifications.
3. Self-organized and structured working style, proficient in MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
4. Experience in quality management or quality assurance is advantageous.
5. Fluent in German and English.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
